BIG roof Warranty, CHEAP Accessories......?

Many asphalt shingle companies are boasting big warranties, but will the accessories be serviceable for that time? Some pipe flashings have a ONE Year warranty, Yes ONE year. (EDIT: The company with a one year warranty did a rolling warranty update, with no specifics stating whether there was actually any tangible changes in the product. I would think if they made a elastomeric formula change that warranted a significant increase in warranty, they would have PROUDLY Paraded it in their marketing. Since they have not said anything of the likes, I will assume it is the same product, and this is simply a marketing stunt. The warranty only covers giving you a new pipe flashing, and no labor cost to replace. A new boot costs the homeowner about $10.00-$15.00 and definitely not enough to make it worth filing a claim to recoup the costs. This would likely mean shipping costs, multiple trips for a roofing contractor to diagnose, then install after the claim is approved.)
